7 Bible Questions to ask your pastor.

Questions to ask your pastor. (and yourself)

When he cannot give a clear scripturally supported answer to them, perhaps it’s time YOU really took to studying the Word of God yourself (anew), and praying for the “ears” to hear (Mar 7:16 / Mat 11:15)  and perhaps you will find that, like a king (Pro 25:2) you can search it out and find much deeper treasures than you ever realized. (Mat 13:44)

If your humble enough and only IF God allows it, you CAN know the depths of these marvelous truths, and so much more.

1.    In Rev, there are 7 churches who are receiving letters of various warnings/messages from God.  Why are there exactly 7?  Why not 5 or 6, or 1?

2.    Esau, who is known as someone whom God explicitly “hated” Rom 9:13 –…What happened in the OT when all was said and done between him and his brother Jacob? What does the Bible teach happens to Esau and his like later on?

3.    If the bible is to be literally understood/read; then why do you still have both your eyes and hands?  So, how do we pick and choose was is literal and what is not?  Does scripture teach us this method?

4.    1Cr3:13  what happens to “every man” spoken of in this verse and the few following?  Hint: They are SAVED as we read in 1Cr3:15, but how are they saved?

5.    Why is “HELL” (Greek: ‘Hades’) thrown into the lake of fire in Rev 20:14?  Isn’t it basically the same thing, just a bigger, hotter, uglier version of hell?  If not, what is the difference?

6.    Why in older popular English TRANSLATIONS of bibles (aka: KJV) is the word ‘Sheol’ (which is the same as the Greek word ‘Hades’ as scripturally proven by Act 2:27 , which quotes Psalm 16:10 from the OT) Is translated 31 times as Hell, 31 times as grave and 3 times as pit?  It is one Hebrew word used in the OT, so which is the correct translation?  Hell, grave, or pit?

7.    What is the eternal fate of Sodom and its inhabitants?  Does the Bible even teach Sodom’s final destiny?

Actually 8...here is a bonus question!  Did Christ speak to the multitudes in plain language?  If so, when was this? If not, why not?
